Fortify Your Fluid Handling with Automation-Ready SeptaVent® Spin Tubes

Our 50mL SeptaVent Bioreactor Spin Tubes allow for easy access and small volume fluid handling while maintaining a sterile and uncompromised environment. They represent a novel integration of two common technologies into a single device:

• Resealable septum – Facilitates the use of various syringes, pipettes, injection needles, pipette tips, and cannulae for easy access to samples without compromising sterility for repeated or intermittent sampling.
• 2 μm PTFE filter membrane – Maintains a sterile environment while allowing for proper airflow and gas exchange. Its hydro-oleophobic properties resist wetting with water or low surface tension fluids.

Available with an optional custom rack, SeptaVent Spin Tubes are designed to work in conjunction with all custom and standard robotic liquid handling systems. They are ideal for cell line development, protein expression, cell culture media, and other applications where automated systems are used to minimize manual intervention.

It is recommended that the user swab the surface of the septum with IPA and use a pipette, cannula, or syringe to access the container. A laminar flow HEPA hood environment should also be utilized while accessing the septum. SeptaVents are packaged individually or in bulk, either irradiated or non-irradiated and with an option to include barcodes.
