Purillex® Container Solutions
Protect Your Critical Materials During Transport, Storage and Processing
Savillex’s Purillex® container range comprises of bottles, vials, and jars designed specifically for life sciences use. Manufactured using injection and stretch blow molding to ensure the highest integrity seals, Purillex containers are ideal for bulk drug storage and transport, autologous cell therapy, formulation stability testing, and many other applications. Purillex bottles can be supplied in PFA, FEP, ETFE and our newest addition, PETG. All Purillex containers are Class VI compliant with full USP extractable and biocompatibility testing and manufactured in our US-based ISO Class 7 cleanroom to ensure optimal performance.
HELIX Oscillating Biomixer®
Mix Your Critical Material with More Control and Less Shear
The HELIX Oscillating Biomixer® is a highly versatile mixing system ideally suited for use in a variety of life sciences applications, including buffer and media preparation, formulation, and more. It is designed as a single-use, closed system – with dynamic radial fins molded directly into the unit, preventing the need for an inserted mixing apparatus. Manufactured with USP Class VI polypropylene, the HELIX has excellent compatibility with acids and bases, alcohols, aldehydes, and many other life sciences ingredients. It can also deliver added value as a standard carboy or horizontal jar mill when not being used for mixing.
Few companies in the world have the know-how to injection mold fluoropolymers. High melt temperatures and corrosive gases generated during molding make fluoropolymers extremely challenging to mold. From resin selection and tool design to processing know how and manufacturing environment, Savillex understands fluoropolymer injection molding. We apply that know-how to every project, working with our customers to develop custom injection molded parts from PFA, FEP, ETFE, PVDF and more, no matter how challenging the application.
Stretch Blow Molding
Stretch blow molding (SBM) is used to produce containers from thermoplastics like PET. It has several advantages over traditional extrusion blow molding, such as superior sealing and cleanliness. However, commercially available SBM machines are unable to process fluoropolymers so Savillex designed and manufactured its own SBM machines and is the only company in the world to stretch blow mold fluoropolymers. Savillex offers SBM custom fluoropolymer containers in sizes up to 2 L.
