Film Technology: Renolit 9101 Medical-Grade Construction

Purillex 2D bioprocess bags are constructed from Renolit 9101, a five-layer medical-grade polyethylene/EVOH film engineered for durability and barrier protection. 

Key film properties: 

• ULDPE inner and outer layers
• EVOH barrier for oxygen and moisture protection
• 97% clarity for visual inspection
• Low-temperature durability below –45 °C
• Low extractables profile 

This advanced multilayer film supports demanding pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing environments.

Sterilization and Regulatory Compliance 

Purillex 2D Bag Assemblies are sterilized using validated: 

• E-beam irradiation
• Gamma irradiation (up to 50 kGy depending on tubing selection)

All sterilization processes are performed in accordance with ISO 11137 standards. 

These single-use bag systems support compliance with:
